L Smith to A Capsey
That's the hard reverse sweep form Capsey and she gets it away in between the backward point and the short third man fielder and it races away to the boundary ropes. On a length around off and Capsey gets down on one knee and executes the shot to perfection.

L Smith to A Capsey
Capsey is making it look too easy here. Jenny Gunn was in two minds there whether to go for the catch or take it on a bounce running in from widish long-on. In the end does none and Capsey finds the boundary again. Comes down the track and fats that away across the line.

L Smith to A Capsey
A hat-trick of boundaries for Capsey. On a good-length this time, Capsey shuffles across ever so slightly and helps it away in the gap down towards deep square leg and finds the boundary. She is using the depth of the crease to perfection here.

L Smith to A Capsey
Birthday girl Alice Capsey has made a mockery of this run chase in the end. Goes for the reverse sweep again and gets it well over the backward point fielder and it races away again. Was on a length again and Capsey gets into position early and executes the shot to perfection yet again. The clarity with which she has batted today deserved a huge round of applause. The 18-year-old has taken her side home at a canter.
OIW won by 9 wickets

NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Oval Invincibles winning the game as they defeat Northern Superchargers Women by 9 wickets, as they chase down the target of 143 in 84 deliveries.

Northern Superchargers Women, started well but lost Healy who looked good for her 15. Heath and Armitage too got out on scores of 6 and 1. Jemimah and Wolvaardt then stabled the ship as they both added 66 runs for the Fourth wicket partnership. Jemimah scored 51and Wolvaardt departed on the last ball missing out on her half-century by 1 run.

For the Oval Invincibles Women, Ryana Mcdonald-Gay scalped a couple of wickets while Capsey, Ismail, and Smale took a wicket each.

In reply to the target set by the Superchargers Women, Invincibles Women started in the best possible way as they scored 36 runs in the first 25 deliveries without losing any wicket.

Bates and Winfield started off in a splendid manner as they scored 104 runs for the first wicket partnership as Bates fell on a score of 46. Capsey then walked in and she along with Winfield took the Invincibles past the total in front of them. Winfield was sensational as she smoked 74 runs for her side.

For the Northern Superchargers Women side, Only Jenny Gunn took a wicket and that was of Bates when the game became a dead rubber.

This was a statement performance from the defending champions here in front of their home crowd.

LAUREN WINFIELD-HILL has been named as Player of this match for her 74 not out.

LAUREN WINFIELD-HILL: "It was great fun tonight. It didn’t seem as such but I had to work quite hard, Superchargers girls know me really well and as a result, I knew they would close down my strengths. It was even better to have Bates on the other hand and it feels so nice to get a win. I came to a new team, the staff and girls have been awesome and they have made me feel at home with the warm welcome. Also not to forget we've got some good senior players and some exciting youth, we cover all bases and are hungry to do the double and retain the title we won last year."
