Pressure telling on the batter as well. Full and around off, Yuvraj pushes this to mid off and sets off for one. Vyshak is ball watching and Yuvraj is asked to turn back. The batter does that but a direct hit from the mid off fielder makes things interesting. This is sent upstairs for a run out check. The replay shows that the batter has made his ground in time.

MAXIMUMMM!!! Mysore Warriors have won this by 2 wickets and a ball to spare. Overpitched, on middle and leg, Yuvraj leans inside the line of the delivery and flicks this over the deep mid-wicket fence for a maximum to seal the game.
It's the skipper and number 10 Yuvraj Arora who emerge as the heroes for the Mysore Warriors eventually! What a humdinger of a contest we've had at Hubli tonight!
11:36 P.M. IST and Local Time: They left it late, very late, but thanks to unlikely heroic efforts with the bat from Vyshak Vijaykumar and Yuvraj Arora, Mysore Warriors ensured a new lease of life in their 2026 Maharaja T20 Trophy campaign! It seemed like their game to lose at the halfway stage; they lost their way, looked down and out, but still managed to get there and clinch two very important points!

Karun Nair breathed life into Coastal Kings Mangaluru's innings after Ritesh Bhatkal accounted for Aadharsh SJ early on. The CKM skipper used the pace of the ball to great effect and worked the gaps against pace, propelling the scoring rate and making the best use of the powerplay.

There was a 50-odd-minute rain delay after the powerplay, after which the momentum shifted. With the ball skidding off the wicket, Lavish Kaushal made the most of it, hurrying both Nair and Suraj Ahuja and accounting for them off successive deliveries.

Shreyas Gopal and Siddharth Akhil had to consolidate. The duo weathered the situation and built a decent platform going into the back end of the innings, but the Coastal Kings lost too many wickets at the death.

The Mysore Warriors lost Karthik SU off the first ball, but that did not faze them in the slightest. Ritesh Bhatkal launched into an onslaught in the powerplay, and Chethan LR joined in soon after. The duo helped the Mysore Warriors motor along to 68 in the allotted 5.4 overs of powerplay, and there seemed no stopping them tonight.

The Coastal Kings then turned to spin, and it seemed to work. Gopal accounted for Chethan LR with a long hop, but Ritesh Bhatkal continued on his merry way. The required rate was under a run a ball at around the halfway mark, but then began the drama.

Nischith Pai and Codanda Ajit Karthik used the skiddiness off the wicket to get rid of Karthikeya, Lankesh and the very well-set Ritesh Bhatkal in the span of a couple of overs. Wickets kept tumbling one after the other, and the Warriors were down to their tail.

As it turned out, Vyshak Vijaykumar the batter still had a say in the game. So did Yuvraj Arora, who moved across and hit a crucial maximum in the dying stages of the game. It was Yuvraj who landed the decisive blow eventually. Post-match presentation ceremony coming up in a bit...

MW won by 2 wickets
Karun Nair (skipper of Coastal Kings Mangaluru) - "(On such a close game) I think we were 20 runs short with the bat and after the start that we had, I don't think we capitalised as we kept losing wickets at regular intervals and even the bowlers started well but then we let the game drift away towards the end so something for us to learn and comes back in a better way.

(On the bowling of Shreyas Gopal) Yes, of course, as I said, we didn't start on the best foot, but then Gopal came in and took the wickets, so I'm really happy with that. However, I think we need to work on a lot of things, and we also need to tighten up in the outfield.

(On what could he have done differently) I think they played some really good shots at the end, and once again, it is all about executing your plans. In a T20 game, we need to get into a better position and finish off the game a lot earlier if we are in a position to do so.

(On how Nischith bowled) Amazing spell for him in his first game this year and this is all we could have asked off him."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH - Ritesh Bhatkal for his all-around performance.
Vijaykumar Vyshak (Skipper of Mysore Warriors) - "(On how it felt to be there at the end) Nothing better than a skipper to grab the bat, score those runs and take the chance to win a game for the side.

(On change in the batting order) I mean, we have seen Ritesh bat in the nets and hit the ball a long way and somewhere we knew that we could get the most out of him if we promote him and he did what he knows to do best and hit long sixes.

(On beating the top two sides) I think it doesn't matter to us that what has happened in the past and all we are looking for is to carry the winning momentum going ahead and the boys are showing up and this being a complete performance shows that.

(On chasing 160) When I saw the track i thought that even 200 was getable and the way we started batting it looked a lot easier but it just happens that the players start to feel butterflies and that's what happened but we were good with the recovery towards the end.

(On the ploy of short stuff) We usually don't see such tracks but having seen the bounce on this deck, we had planned to bowl in that manner and it worked out well for us."
What a breathtaking, final-over thriller as the Mysore Warriors pull off a spectacular two-wicket victory over the Coastal Kings Mangaluru! That brings us to the end of our coverage for today. On behalf of myself, Tarun, my co-commentators Rajarshi and Saptak Sanyal, and our scorer/analyst Ashok, thank you so much for joining us. The cricket action doesn't stop here, with games coming thick and fast, so make sure to switch tabs right away to catch the next match. Until next time, adios!
