NAM won by 4 wickets
8:53 PM IST, 5:26 PM Local Time | Dylan Leicher, you beauty! Namibia clinch a final-ball thriller with a final-ball MAXIMUM to win the contest by 4 wickets! What a rollercoaster of a game, it went right down to the wire, and Leicher, with his nerves of steel, deposited one into the stands to seal the victory! Namibia avoided a whitewash at home, as Scotland won the series 2-1.

Scotland won the toss and elected to bat first! Munsey vindicated the decision, as he stood tall with a towering knock of 108 runs off 64 balls to help Scotland register a big total of 186/4 at the end of their 20 overs.

The silver lining for Namibia from this was that the debutant Waldo Smith ended up as their top bowler with the figures of 2/39 from 4 overs. Jack Brassell and Max Heingo were the other wicket takers.

Come the chase, it was Namibia's turn to dominate with the bat, as the opening duo of Louren Steenkamp and Jan Frylinck scored 50 runs off 4.3 overs to lay down the foundation for the chase. Steenkamp fell to Jones after scoring 26 runs off 12 balls. Loftie-Eaton was in next, and after hitting a couple of maximums, he was the victim of a rare run out at the finger of Watt.

However, Jan Frylinck was unfazed by this, as the southpaw continued to dominate the chase, eventually scoring 78 runs off 53 balls, and stitching together a 60-run partnership with skipper Gerhard Erasmus for the third wicket.

Frylinck's dismissal in the 16th over through Davidson slowed down the innings for Namibia, as Scotland clawed their way back into the game with some tight bowling. Namibia had to chase 16 runs in the final over.

Davidson claimed his 2nd and 3rd wicket in the final over through the dismissals of Volschenk (4) and Erasmus (44), and the rest, as you know, is history. Leicher stood tall, sent the ball sailing over the fence, and Namibia were the victors in the end!

Davidson picked up 3/51, making him the highest wicket-taker and most expensive in the innings.
Player of the Match: Jan Frylinck
Jan Frylinck (Player of the Match): "(What were the talks in the dressing room after the first innings?) It just looked like a very good pitch today. The total was good and we knew that it would've been tough to chase it down. Glad to chase the target."
Matthew Cross (Scotland Captain): "(Reflections on the series) We have got a good series. Yes the finish might have been a better one but we are looking forward to the next series.

(Key take aways?) It's been a challenging tour. We got a few things here and there. But we got the young guys coming in, making their debuts and they performed. This actually increases the depth of the team.

(Message for the Scotland fans) Big thank you to everyone who have come here to support."
Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia Captain): "(On the finish) Something about this last ball finishes at NCG, which makes it a special ground.

(On youngsters) The youngsters like hitting the last ball out of the ground, and also with the ball, B,rassell and the debutant standing up, which is lovely to see.

(On learnings from the series) Jan's getting up there for us, the batters have been in good form and we are just happy that we can go big here."
