Mitchell Santner (New Zealand Captain): "Yeah. I mean, the way kind of Tim David came out straight away and struck it, you know, I thought we didn't bowl too bad, but, you know, the power they possess all the way down is, I guess the reason why they're pretty good.
It's obviously a pretty good score, but I guess we know that they keep coming with the bat and I guess the only way to stop them is to take wickets. And I guess we didn't really do that today, but, yeah, it was a hell of a game of cricket and we just got to reflect and move on.
I guess you pick five bowlers to do a job and that's their job, I guess, but, yeah, I mean, trying to find a way to slow them down. Maybe it might have been another bowler, but yeah, I think when the Bison can mishit it up to six, it means I might have to go to the gym to get some arms like that.
It's a completely different ground, obviously the dimensions. So, yeah, the plans will be slightly different there. Like I said, I think the key, even in our innings, is if you can take wickets, you can slow the runs down.
So I guess we have to find a way of trying to do that. But I thought we stuck in for a long time on a pretty good pitch and it was pretty close in the end."
