Kyle Jamieson (Player of the Series): "It feels really good. I think the biggest thing for me through this series has been consistency, just building game after game, getting rhythm back, recovering well, and backing up.
As a bowling unit, we set the tone together, and to finish with a series win makes it even more pleasing. Looking ahead to the Test series against the West Indies, I’m definitely pumped. It’s been great to get overs into the legs over these three ODIs, especially with the tough travel days in between. Now we’ll take a little bit of time to rest, reset, and go again because we know the Tests will be another scrap.
A big part of our success has been executing different plans. Every bowler had a different role at different times with the new ball, enforcing, holding up an end. That adaptability helped us, and the communication between us has been excellent. Hamilton demanded something different, Napier demanded something else, and we adjusted well.
In terms of my own bowling, I’m enjoying it again. The ball was coming out nicely, the run-up felt smooth, and the body was holding up well. There’s been a lot of hard work to get to this stage, so being able to play back-to-back games and complete a full series means a lot.
The focus now is just to keep stacking up games and stay consistent. Really happy with how things stand at the moment."
