Salman Mirza (Player of the Match): "The plans were simple. Looked to bowl within the stumps and according to the pitch. So, mix and matched. If you can assess the conditions quickly and execute, the chances of success increases. We saw that the ball was gripping, so used a lot of slower balls. I made a comeback after a long time. Doesn't matter whether I am playing or not, I try to be ready."

Donovan Ferreira (South Africa captain): "I think we did not bat well. It is hard to defend that kind of score. We did not give our bowlers a lot of runs to defend. There is not much time to analyse. We have to put this behind ourselves and come back tomorrow. We can take some learnings from the wicket. We can use that to our advantage. But from a cricketing point of view, there is not much to talk about. It has set up the final nicely. It is the part of the game."

Salman Ali Agha (Pakistan Captain): "They outplayed us the other day and we did that today. Hopefully, we have a cracking final. That is what we expect from ourselves. When you bowl so well up front and take four wickets, mostly you are going to win the game. The previous match, we didn't bowl well and were chasing the game.

I think everyone bowled very well today. Salman (Mirza) is working very hard and learning new things. We have him as a back-up for Shaheen (Afridi) and is becoming a main bowler. Naseem (Shah) also didn't have a great outing last game but he came back well. Happy for him. (On Saim Ayub) He is the future for Pakistan, will serve us for the next 10 years."
