Salman Ali Agha (POTM): "Thank you! I just wanted to be in the present. I wanted to take it one ball at a time.

The partnership with Hussain Talat was important. It set the tone. We are in a bit of a dig. We wanted to take the game on. It wasn't easy. We were struggling, especially against the new ball. We wanted to play our shots and run hard between the wickets. Running was the highlight of our partnership.

After 35 overs, we tried to go for the attack, scoring 7, 8 or 9 runs per over till the 40th over. We knew we can score 100 in the last 10 overs as we had the finishers like Nawaz to come. We also had Faheem. So, we wanted to take the game deep."
Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka Captain): "The first 25 overs were phenomenal like you said, but one decision went against us, and that was the bad luck. At the same time, credit to Salman and Talat for playing well.

We could have still stopped them around 260-270, but we conceded 300. We lost our wickets in clusters, which was key, and Haris Rauf bowled really well. I think including me and a few batters, we made bad decisions.

[On Wanindu Hasaranga] He is a superstar with the ball, and he is great with the bat. He is playing to his potential, and I think he will carry on like this."
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan Captain): "Yeah, I think the players played well. We lost a few wickets early on. The way Salman Agha and Hussain batted, credit should go to them. 300 is a big score after the way we started.

We should minimise the dot ball percentage in the powerplay. 46 dot balls are a bit too much.

We were looking to score 250 -260 odd the way we started, but 300 is a big total. But more credit goes to Haris Rauf.

It was really awesome to see Haris Rauf. He has always been a wicket-taker for Pakistan for many years. He has been our top performer in white-ball cricket. He is our main bowler.

(On Babar Azam taking a blinder of a catch at first slip) Yeah, he (Babar Azam) was awesome. He was Superman."
