Anuj Rawat (Purani Dilli-6 Captain): "[On the first innings score] Absolutely Sir. We were happy with our first innings score. Though if you see, they bowled really well at the backend and pulled our score a tad bit down. This game had individual performances but on the whole, it was a collective fight from our side that won us the game.

[Was he nervous when Sarthak Ranjan and Yash Bhatia stitched a partnership?] Yes sir, when a partnership starts to build, as a team you do get a bit nervous. However, with the big score we put on the board, we always knew that we are in the game. There was a big boundary on one side, and we tried to use it. Yes, these are things we sit and plan in our team meetings. Then it is on us to execute it.

[On entering the top 2] We are very happy with being in the top 2. One game to go and we will try to win that as well."

Aryan Gaur (Player of the Match): "(On scoring half-centuries) The owners backed me, and that motivated me a lot to go out there and perform well. I’m really happy that I could repay their faith with my performances.

(On leaving his mark in the league) I’ve been ready for the last two or three years and was just waiting for my opportunity. Now that I’ve got it, I’m trying to make the most of the opportunity that has been presented to me.

Purani Dilli-6 make their chances for qualification a lot stronger with this 20-run win. Well, on the flip side of things, North Delhi Strikers have made their path that much more difficult now. This win was necessary for them to leap into the top 4 but as fate had it, they still are searching for that key.
