Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women captain): "(Where did the game go out of their hands?) We got a couple of chances in between. But we were not able to take those. But we still have two games to go. It is time to be positive now.

(On the bowling) I thought Shree Charani and Shafali bowled well. They created chances. But other bowlers did not support them.

(On the dropped catches) We always talk about the fact that we have to take opportunities. But now, we have 2-3 more days before the next game, we will rethink and accordingly pick the XI.

(On Marizanne Kapp) She was brilliant. She took game away from us. She gave two chances. But we did not take them. At this level, nobody will give you that many chances. And if you miss them, it will hurt you.

(On the conditions) The ball was turning, if you use your fingers well. Shree Charani and Shafali Verma did well. Other spinners need to think about how to bowl on this wicket.

(On her journey in cricket over the years as she played her 200th T20I today) I have had a lot of learnings, a lot of positive moments, and even moments like these where you have to stay positive. It is time to talk to my mates and give them strength and move forward."
Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa Women captain): (On South Africa's thrilling win over India) "Yeah, what a finish and what a game. We were pretty stressed on the bench. To win from the position we were in was absolutely incredible and probably one of the best chases I've seen under so much pressure. To do it against the side that we lost the final to as well is pretty special.

(On Marizanne Kapp's match-winning performance) I think she's probably the biggest big-match player I've ever seen, and I'm really glad she's on my team. It seems like whenever there's something on the line, or we're playing in a World Cup, she finds a way to bring out her best cricket. I don't actually think she was feeling that great today, but if she's going to play like this, I hope she feels incredible. The way she bowled and then played that innings was amazing. She's almost two players in one. She just has that competitive nature, and it brings out the best in her.

(On South Africa's approach during the chase) We didn't get off to the best start. Ideally, we would have liked to get ahead of the rate a little earlier because we knew the surface would become more difficult later on. We probably left ourselves with a bit too much to do at the back end, but thankfully, it took something special to get the job done. I think we could have handled it a little better at times, even if the boundaries weren't coming, just by rotating the strike.

(On restricting India to a manageable total) That was huge for us. After the Powerplay, when they got 50-odd runs, it looked like they were absolutely flying. The way they started, especially in the first couple of overs, was really aggressive. But I thought our bowlers in the middle overs were excellent. The seamers used their variations really well and didn't give India much to work with. We were also able to keep their big hitters quiet at the end, which was really important. If someone had offered us 160 before the game, we definitely would have taken it.

(On what the win means for the rest of the tournament) It's massive for our confidence. If we had lost this game, we were almost out of the competition. To stay alive in the tournament is huge. We've still got two big games to come, and there are still things that can happen, but getting this win behind us was really important because this was one of the major matches for us heading into the tournament."
So who deserves the spotlight tonight? There can only be one answer. Marizanne Kapp. Two wickets with the ball. An unbeaten 81 with the bat. A match-winning partnership. Ice-cold finishing under pressure. She walked into the crease at 25/2 when India were squeezing hard, and she walked off unbeaten with South Africa celebrating around her. Charani's 3/24 deserved applause. Brits 40 was invaluable. But this was Kapp's stage. Kapp's script. Kapp's evening. South Africa have secured a crucial six-wicket victory, while India are left to reflect on missed opportunities and what might have been. That's cricket. Fine margins. Big moments.

Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator, Darpan Tikiya, scorer Manish Bishnoi, and statistician Aman. That’s it from our side. Thanks for joining.
