Ayush Badoni (South Delhi Superstarz Captain): "[You restricted the opposition to just 165 when, at one stage, they looked capable of getting close to 200] I think all the credit goes to Hooda for the middle overs. He was the game-changer for us, and he did the job.
[Can you take us through what was going through your mind?] We won the toss on this surface and decided to bowl first because we felt that was the right option. Teams have generally preferred chasing here, and after the first 10 overs, it looked like we were in for a score of around 200. But then Hooda came in and did exactly what we needed. We were fortunate to have someone like Anshuman Hooda bowling at the back end, and the way he picked up that five-wicket haul completely turned the game around. Full credit to him that he made my work easy.
[Mood in the camp] The mood was very simple: just play your shots and don't think about the total.
[There's a lot of history between these two sides. When we look back at Season 1 and that final, that little bit of a pinprick still remains?] I was also told that we had never beaten East Delhi before, so this is our first win against them. I'm really happy."
