When Wanindu came out to bat, we spoke to bat positively as Sri Lanka always approaches on a positive way. He told me that he will be taking an aggressive approach, attacking the bowlers. I am happy with the way I played. Had to spend time on the crease. During the halfway of our innings, Silverwood said not to get under pressure. Play freely and we did exactly that. I told him that this looks like a140-150 wicket. In the end, I was hitting well and just got a score of around 170. Wanindu Hasaranga: "When I went there in the ground, we were 58-5. I and Bhanuka planned that if we can go towards 150, it would be good for us. I have my own role, I told him that I will play my free way. In the initial, there was a bit of an issue but later on, it gradually decreased. I tried to bowl without boundaries, tried to bowl at the stumps, and therefore I feel I got the wickets."
