NZW won by 111 runs
17:16 (IST and Local Time)| That' 's it!!!!! White Ferns have dominated this encounter in all three departments and have won this encounter by 111 runs.

Earlier in the game,  the New Zealand Women won the toss and chose to bat first. They set a massive target of 330 runs in their allotted 50 overs. The highlight of their innings was a tremendous partnership of 229 runs for the 3rd wicket between Amelia Kerr and captain Sophie Devine. Kerr scored 108 runs, while Devine scored a remarkable 137 runs.

From the bowling perspective, Oshadi Ranasinghe was the standout performer for the Sri Lanka Women's team as she took 3 wickets. Udeshika Prabodhani also contributed with a couple of wickets.

In their pursuit of the massive target of 330 runs, the Sri Lanka Women's team endured a disastrous start, consistently losing wickets at regular intervals. They struggled to find their rhythm throughout the chase and never appeared comfortable. However, amidst the struggles, Kavisha Dilhari showed remarkable resilience and played a splendid inning of 84 runs. The remaining batters failed to contribute significantly, with none of them even reaching a total of 20 runs.

Among the New Zealand Women's bowlers, Lea Tahuhu emerged as the standout performer, taking 4 wickets. Eden Carson also made valuable contributions with a couple of wickets.

That brings us to the end of the coverage of the match between New Zealand Women and Sri Lanka Women. It was New Zealand Women's Day today as they sneaked away with a victory.
