At one stage it was looking like it will be an easy chase for London Spirit. But Northern Superchargers fought back pretty well and they scalped a few quick wickets which put the Spirit on the backfoot. Smith gave Northern Superchargers the first breakthrough in her very first over, she uprooted Grace (18 off 18) stumps. Mooney (30 off 20) lost her wicket shortly after Grace was dismissed. Gibson also returned to the pavilion without opening the account and disturbing the scoreboard.
Sophie Luff took charge of London Spirit's sinking innings and scored at a blistering pace.
