WICKETT!! ANTICLIMAX HERE AT THE BRIDGE!!Lawrence fires it up flatter on a length, goes straight at middle and off stump line, Moores makes room going down the leg side, looks to cut it, was way too close of the stumps, misses and the ball rattles the off stump. Just 2 needed and the crowd will have to wait a bit longer to celebrate.

SIX!! CAPTAIN FINESHES IT OFF IN STYLE! Tossed up full and bit wide of off, Gregory gets low and picks it up with sheer authority and power and sends it sailing deep into the crowds behind the deep midwicket boundary ropes. Rockets breech the Spirits winning streak and go on top of the table.
TR won by 6 wickets

Deepak: That’s the end of the 20th Hundred’s game between Trent Rockets vs London Spirit. Where Trent Rockets thumped London Spirit by 6  wickets. A great batting performance by Trent Rockets which helps them seal this match by  6 wickets with 21 balls to spare, and become the first team to reach the 10-point mark this season.

Earlier London Spirit was bundled at 122 runs in 93 balls and asked Trent Rockets to chase down 123 runs.

Trent Rockets didn't start their inning on a good note as they lost Dawid Malan in the very first ball of the second inning he was in a hurry to take a quick single but got run out and was soon joined by Alex Hales who departed scoring 6 runs off 7 balls.

Colin Munro and T Kohler-Cadmore took the charge and started hitting the balls out of the park and were batting superbly in the middle. T Kohler-Cadmore played a brilliant inning and departed scoring 41 runs off 28 balls and built a partnership of 85 runs with Colin Munro for the third wicket.

Collin Munro batted till the end and scored blasting 67 runs off 37 balls and finished the match for his team.

On the other hand Daniel Lawrence, Chris Wood, and Nathan Ellis shared one wicket each for the London Spirit.

Trent Rockets become the first team to reach the 10 point mark this season. Right then hang around for the presentation.
Colin Munro (Hero of the Match): "Little bit sticky wicket, just tried to take it deep and get the team over the line. Rashid comes in and bowled very well tonight, all guys are coming in and putting their hands up. They are such a good talented teams with great youngsters, love to get a win against them. It's lovely to have the crowd on my side after every catch and boundaries."
Lewis Gregory (Winning Captain): "Absolutely a brilliant performance, outstanding in the first half, took wickets regularly, Wood and Rash (Rashid Khan) were excellent. They (on losing Dawid Malan and Alex Hales early) have been doing well for us so far, but others stood up and took us over the line.

We knew that their batters go hard, Wood is rolling in wheels and Pollard was striking well, obviously Rash was a great match up against him. We need to take wickets in this surface, else these guys are very dangerous.

Munro showed his class as that surface wasn't the truest pitch that we get here. Rash and Shamsi are two quality spinners in the world, we are lucky to have both of them in the side and it's tough to get both in. Tom is a powerful lad, he bats with positive intent wherever he goes around the world and happy for him to take us to the finishing line.

We have a long break coming up, we will have some time away from cricket, a bit of golf and some practice to stay in good shape.
That's a wrap then from us here!! London Spirit's invincibility has been breached by a sensational Trent Rockets. The side from Nottingham move to pole position of the points table as they head for a long break. Spirits will look to bounce back when they face a winless Welsh Fire on Wednesday.

Make sure to be connected with all the live action of The Hundred competition. Until then this is Shashank Surly, signing off along with my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer Paras Yadav. Goodnight and goodbye.
