Tristan Stubbs (POTM): "[Nice to get a consolation win?] Yeah, I think for what we put in for the month, it is disappointing but a nice way to finish it off.
[On the preparations and the squad] Definitely. In hindsight, it is a bit frustrating. We gave it our all for the month. First couple of games went close, then it is hard to get momentum going into the comp. I think we showed in the end that what we can do but it took us a while to get there.
[On adjusting to the 100 format] I found it very tough personally. You look at the scoreboard and you don't know what to do. But the players who have played it, they showed us that you need to know what you are doing. If you lose small moments in the game, you lose the game.
[On the surfaces in The Hundred] No, they have been tough in Southampton with big outfield. Batting first, you don't know what's a good score. Nice to get a partnership going and get a win.
[On his partnership with Stoinis] From what we have played on, that was a road. That helped us probably. When Stoinis got out, we needed 12. So it was just about one hit.
[On his time playing the Hundred] Yeah, it was a great comp. A good month in the UK, really enjoyed it."

Chris Jordan (Southern Brave Captain): (On the victory) "It's been an almost season for us. We've had a few tight games and competed in every single game, which I'm pretty happy about. But in some key moments, we weren't able to get over the line. Tonight, we were able to do so against what is a very good team at the top of the table.
(On where the team struggled during the season) I'd say it's just one or two key moments in games. In games that were in the balance, at times we probably had the temperament, and at times maybe we just didn't quite execute. Across the season, I'd say for the most part, I try not to make it a bowlers-versus-batters thing. I try to play complementary cricket as much as possible. It doesn't matter if we get enough runs or don't defend enough runs with the ball up front.
(On the team's batting struggles) I'd probably say with the bat, we just haven't quite got our tempo right. But you saw tonight, especially with Stoinis. Even in his first four or five balls, he had the confidence to take on the spinner, get ahead of the game, and then he was able to knock it around from there."

Marcus Stoinis came out and changed the game in a very short period of time, and Tristan Stubbs played an innings like that to get them across the line. I thought we definitely played better on the night, as everyone kind of expected, but fair play. I think it shows the quality of this competition.
(On the quality throughout The Hundred) As CJ alluded to, it hasn't quite been the season they would have liked. But you just look at their line-up, and Jordan still came in to bat towards the back end. The quality in every single team in this competition is throughout. So, as tonight showed, you have to be right on it as a team. It doesn't matter where you are in the league.
(On the possibility of going straight through to the final) Definitely, I'd prefer to go straight through to the final, so we'll be cheering on Jos and the lads up in Manchester. Hopefully, they'll win. They've got plenty on the line for themselves, so we'll definitely be siding with Manchester on that one. As you showed with the table, it just shows the quality yet again. Every single team can beat anyone on their day. Birmingham have had a tough year and got 214 against us in the first game, so I definitely feel this competition goes from strength to strength.

A pretty professional chase from the Southern Brave as they ended up the campaign with some pride after breaking a six-match losing streak. But the spotlight will firmly be on Trent Rockets who will have a nervous wait to see whether they make it to the final directly.
Trent Rockets will know their destiny at the end of tomorrow night's match which will see Manchester Super Giants take on Sunrisers Leeds. Sunrisers Leeds are on 20 points and will be the only side with an opportunity to over-take the Sam Billing-led Trent Rockets. Needless to say, it will be a crucial fixture for Manchester Super Giants as well as both MI London and Welsh Fire are also in contention for the Eliminator.
