9:03 PM IST, 7:33 PM Local Time: A horrible batting display from Vista Riders, and they could only muster 71/7 in 10 overs, which is the lowest total of the season. Ajman Titans win by 34 runs and extend their winning streak to three matches.
Ajman Titans posted 105/7 in their 10 overs after a topsy-turvy first innings. They started explosively as Alex Hales and Aneurin Donald went after the bowlers, but Andrew Tye jolted the innings with a double strike, removing Donald and Rossouw in the same over. Hales and Daniel Lawrence rebuilt with a 42-run stand, but the innings derailed again when Dhananjaya Lakshan dismissed Lawrence, and Awais Ahmed followed up with a brilliant double strike, removing Hales for 35 and Asif Khan off consecutive deliveries.
A late push from Moeen Ali and Chris Green helped Titans cross the 100-run mark. Tye, Awais, and Lakshan finished with two wickets each, while Sharafuddin Ashraf chipped in with one.
Vista Riders produced a forgettable batting effort, folding for just 71/7 in 10 overs, the lowest total of the season. Faf du Plessis fell early, and despite Unmukt Chand’s rapid 17 off 8, wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals.
The middle order offered little resistance as Ansh Tandon, Ben McDermott, Sean Dickson, and Dwaine Pretorius all fell cheaply. Eventually, they were restricted to a mere 71/7 in 10 overs. For the Titans, Piyush Chawla was outstanding with 3/11, while Akif Javed struck twice. Chris Green and Zaman Khan chipped in with a wicket each.
Stay tuned for the presentation....
