Sikandar Raza (Seattle Orcas): "Yeah, one of us should have crafted along with Klaasen. One of us from the top five batters should have batted along with Klaasen. If we had then we could have posted something around 140 runs, from which we could have made a game.
The pitch has been difficult. There haven't been many games which have been won batting first. I don't think it has anything to do with the skills of the boys. The wickets have been very tough to bat at the top. Plus, you want to play in a way where you want to give yourself a chance to win, while trying to bat the opposition out of the game. We may have gone too hard.
We might have gone too hard, but it was a wicket where we should have grafted to get near 150 runs."

Glenn Maxwell (MVP & Washington Freedom Captain): "Yeah, it is going okay. I got limited time to bowl, giving it nice chance to recover. Doing most things right, sometimes dropping a couple of high balls.
In the powerplay, in conditions like these, you have to keep the stumps in play. I was able to do that reasonably well.
Yeah, the lights are quite low. Because of fireworks, smoke coming into the ground so the visibility is not too great but no excuses, should have taken that catch.
Yeah, I think we are trying to do our homework as much as we can. The coaches have done a remarkable job. We look at the match-ups before the game and work around that, when match-ups don't work we look at other options.
I think our ability to adapt to different conditions and with the variety we have in our attack as well as our batting, we are adapting quicker than others.
We have had different guys stand up and deliver. We saw that Mukhtar got his opportunity, he did the job we wanted him to do. It was nice to see different guys standing up with the ball as well."

It turned out to be a one-sided affair in Florida, as Washington Freedom brushed aside the Seattle Orcas to claim two points and move up to second place on the points table. With the top three teams still having a game in hand, the race for the top two spots remains wide open.
