Deepak: That brings up the end of the 14th Women’s hundred between Welsh Fire Women vs Southern Brave Women where Southern Brave thumped Welsh Fire by 14 runs. A poor display of batting by Fires and they had to bear the brunt of it. On the other hand, the Braves bowled beautifully throughout the innings and bundled Fires at 108 runs.
Earlier Southern Brave scored 122 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 100 balls and asked Welsh Fire to score 123 runs to win this contest.
The Welsh Fire didn’t get the start they wanted as skipper Tammy Beaumont departed on the 9th ball of the inning scoring 9 runs of the 7 balls. Matthews 20 of 20 and Sutherland 22 of 26 tried to build a partnership but they failed to do so. Bryce was a lone warrior who played some good shots in the end and scored 28 runs but failed to seal the match for her team. Fires kept losing wickets and regular intervals and were able to score 108runs at the loss of 8 wickets.
On the other hand, Anya Shrubsole was the pick of the bowler as she picked up 3 wickets giving away 20 runs in 90 balls. Bell and Adams shared a couple of wickets each and McGrath and Wellington shared one wicket each.

Sophia Dunkley(Player of the match):" I tried to bat throughout the innings and be positive and I think it was a par score. It was really hard to bat on due to the rain and Wyatt batted really well at the beginning of the inning. I think our bowler did outstanding today."
