Phil Salt (POTS): "Yeah, it is disappointing to see the wrong end of the result in the decider. We tried as hard as we could, and we gave it all, but Shai Hope played a brilliant knock. We took it as deep as we could. We have had a long time around this set-up.
I keep learning from Jos Buttler. It has been a challenge. The wicket looked good here. It behaved slightly different under the natural light and it behaved quite differently now under floodlights. You always have more time than you think I suppose."

Jos Buttler(England Captain)- "I think the conditions were different. I think in this wicket, 160 would have been a really decent total. Our bowlers did well and took the match close. Had there been more runs on the board, we would have been in a better position.
Salt has had a fantastic series. It is never easy to score back to back hundreds and he did that. We found a lot of ourselves and we will look to take the learnings positively. It feels always great to come and play to the Caribbean and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here."

We had a meeting on the eve of this game, and we discussed where it went wrong in the previous game. In the last two games, the guys didn't execute.
This pitch was behaving two-paced. It wasn't a pitch that offered a lot of shots. We always knew Hope would be an important batter in this wicket.
The pitch was an excellent one back in Barbados, then in Grenada, and now here in Trinidad. Credit to the groundsmen across the series. We, as players, are unhappy so many times.
Motie was very good. It was good to use mixed experience with youth. I have a good bunch of guys around me, and that's the reason for our success. I try to lead from the front, and they respect me so much."
