Mohammad Nabi: "A run-a-ball, target was in front of us. We threw wickets in the middle and created pressure on us. I kept my nerve in the end. As a batter, this knock will give me confidence. The wicket is not easy, if you control your nerves, it will be easy.

Naveen-ul-Haq (Player of the Series): "The first couple of games were difficult but today, it was overcast. So, the conditions was much easier. The couple of practice sessions helped us to adjust to the conditions here. We had a tough first game but then improved. We were speaking that at least the first couple of overs, there will be swing. Prefer bowling to left-handers."

Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe Captain): "Yeah, suddenly. 150 here should have been par. Again as we have seen in the past few games. We have been struggling in the middle overs and relying just on big hits. I am still hoping, believing that we will be able to turn it around.

It is not about technique, the change room is positive. Everyone is backing each other. Once singles are dried up, we are looking for boundaries. We are targeting the wrong bowlers. It has been happening too frequently but I am hopeful that we can turn it around. 

We tried everything and hence it went to the wire. We had to keep the fielders inside the circle. Because of the overrate penalty. We did what we could but it wasn't to be."

Rashid Khan (Afghanistan Captain): "Quite happy with the win and especially with the series win. Happy with how we came back after the first game in all three departments. In a huge ground like this, fielding is key and happy with the overall performance.

It is always crucial for a batter to finish the game. These low-scoring games are tough. At that time, a partnership was required. Azmat-Naib did it initially and then Azmat and Nabi.

But we have to improve a lot especially in the batting department if we are going to qualify for the semi-finals and finals of big ICC events.

Good for me to get some practice, it is a big series with ODIs and Tests coming up. There are a lot of common players between the different formats for us. So, good to get the confidence from this."
