Jordan Clark was often misunderstood as a footballer but shot to fame in cricket in 2013 when he bashed six sixes in an over during a Second XI Roses clash against Yorkshire at Scarborough. The Cumbria-born cricketer is a powerful striker and useful seam bowler, as well as an occasional wicketkeeper.

Debuted for Cumberland in 2007, Clarke joined Lancashire to make his List-A debut in 2010 and the following year played his maiden T20 game as well. The all-rounder was an irregular entity till since wonders in 2013 where he took on a left-arm spinner named Gurman Randhawa and deposited the bowler into the stands six times to grab all the headlines.

A regular feature in the shorter formats, the allrounder had to wait till 2015 to make it into the first-class level. In his debut season, Clark scored 419 runs and scalped 19 wickets in the course of 12 games. He was also an integral member of the Lancashire setup that lifted the T20 trophy that season.

After being a regular commodity in Lancashire, Clark shifted to Surrey to become a crowd-puller at Old Trafford. He secured the spot of the ex-allrounder Rikki Clarke and has been with Surrey since 2019.

Clark’s first year at Surrey wasn’t pleasing as the club had a poor season while trying to defend their Championship title but the allrounder chipped in with occasional performances in each format. However, Clark only played just a solitary Championship game and two T20 matches in the following year.

In 2021, Clark was picked by Oval Invincibles for the inaugural edition of the Hundred. The allrounder, who could win matches on his given day, can unleash his true calibre under the mentorship of Tom Moody in the all-new format.
