Ehsan Adil

Ehsan Adil is a right-arm fast bowler and right-handed batter originally from Pakistan, now continuing his cricketing journey in the United States through Major League Cricket (MLC). Known for his sharp seam movement and early career breakthroughs, Ehsan made his mark both domestically and internationally before retiring from Pakistan’s national setup in July 2023.

Ehsan first gained attention as part of Pakistan's squad in the 2012 ICC Under-19 World Cup held in Australia. Shortly after, he made a dream start to his first-class career for Habib Bank, picking up six wickets on debut. His standout performance in the President’s Trophy—where he finished with 54 wickets at an average of 17.88—fast-tracked him into the Pakistan Test squad for the 2013 tour of South Africa.

Thrown into the deep end during the Centurion Test, Ehsan made an immediate impact by removing Graeme Smith with just his third delivery in international cricket. He went on to represent Pakistan in three Test matches and six One-Day Internationals between 2013 and 2015.

Domestically, Ehsan featured for teams such as Faisalabad Wolves, Habib Bank Limited, and Central Punjab. He was also named in Punjab’s squad for the 2019 Pakistan Cup and later participated in the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Now part of the growing cricket landscape in the U.S., Ehsan brings international experience and proven pace to Major League Cricket. His journey from rising star in Pakistan to seasoned pro in American cricket showcases both resilience and evolution.
