A reliable wicketkeeper-batsman, Jack Davies is a professional English cricketer for Middlesex who was a part of the U-19 England squad for the two Tests against South Africa in 2018 before then being selected in England’s World Cup squad held in New Zealand.

Davies came into the Middlesex set up through the club’s partnership with Berkshire cricket, who he helped lift the Minor Counties Championship in 2017, hitting an unbeaten 127 in the final against Lincolnshire at the age of just seventeen.

The Reading-born gloveman arrived at the English domestic circuit when he was still a teenager. Davies made his first-class debut against Kent on August 15th, 2020 in the Bob Willis Trophy.

After his second XI exploits for Middlesex, Davies was added to the senior squad as an understudy to John Simpson and even got a handful of matches under his belt. Still just 21, the youngster has to prove himself as a handy batsman down the order to establish his place in the senior team.
