Bethan Ellis

Bethan Ellis has been a proficient all-rounder at the English county circuit. Her aggressive batting at the lower end of the innings and medium-pace bowling have been in demand across various teams. The 1999-born cricketer started playing for Leamington CC at the age of 10 and has been part of the Warwickshire CCC since she was 13. In 2020, Ellis made history by becoming one of the first 41 female players to sign a full-time professional domestic contract.

She also won the 2019 T20 Vitality Cup with the Birmingham Bears - Warwickshire T20 women's team.

As of 2025, Ellis is also playing for Glamorgan's women's T20 side. 

Interestingly, Ellis was the first female to play in and win the Floodlit Cup with Berkswell CC, as she was part of the club's men's 2nd string team.

In May 2025, Ellis made a crucial half-century that helped Warwickshire Women chase down a record total of over 300 runs against Surrey in the ECB Women's One-Day Cup.

The pace bowling all-rounder has a degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences and is studying for a master's degree in musculoskeletal sports science and health at Loughborough University. 

She was very proficient in sports even during her school days at Princethorpe College. The Warwickshire girl won gold medals in the school games for both cricket and hockey and captained both the boys' and girls' first teams.

Apart from cricket and hockey, Ellis also briefly trained at the Leamington Community Boxing Club.
