The left-arm spinner's best came against India C in the Senior Women's T20 Challenger Trophy, with her figures reading 3/14. Pawar's impressive run in the domestic circuit was rewarded in the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) auction as she was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore Women (RCB-W) for the base price of INR 10 Lakhs.
The Bangalore-born was the last player to go under the hammer in the auction, and she had no idea something big had happened to her until she started receiving congratulatory calls.
The 26-year-old girl will share the dressing room with legends of women's cricket like Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, and Richa Ghosh. Her dedication and hard work have brought her this far, and she is determined to make the most of this opportunity.
