Naman Dhir

Naman Dhir is an Indian domestic all-rounder who plays for Punjab. It was Dhir’s batting that first came to the limelight. Playing his debut Ranji Trophy season in 2022-23, the Haryana-born left an immediate mark, smashing two centuries - one of which came in the quarter-final clash against Saurashtra. The part-time off-spinner also snared three wickets in five innings with the best of 2-29 versus Vidarbha.

After displaying an impressive show in red-ball cricket, Dhir shifted his focus to the Punjab T20 2023, where he batted like an unstoppable force. He piled up 466 runs in 12 games of the tournament at an average of 42.36 and a strike rate of 192.56, embodying the modern-day T20 batting. He was also the second-highest run-getter in the competition and brought his bowling skills to the fore, claiming eight scalps across 11 innings.

Naman Dhir IPL Career

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians fetched Naman Dhir’s services for INR 20 lakhs in the auction for the 2024 season. Dhir made an immediate impact with his gutsy batting. The following year, MI required Dhir to pay INR 5.25 Crore via the Right to Match (RTM) card.

He continued his impactful show in the 2025 season as well, as he solidified his role as a premier finisher, amassing 252 runs at a staggering strike rate of 182.61.
