Priya Mishra is a core leg-spin bowler and valuable lower-order batting. She was born on June 4, 2004, in the capital city of India, Delhi. She represents Gujarat Gaint (GG) Women in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Her journey highlights a relentless pursuit of excellence from domestic cricket to the turf of International cricket.

Her cricketing journey started on the streets of Delhi, where she honed her skills in the local academies as she began as a right-handed batter and right-arm leg break bowler. Her performance in the local leagues and school tournaments has been nothing less than glorious.

Mishra established herself as a formidable bowler in the Delhi Women’s cricket team. She claimed 23 wickets in eight matches of the 2023-24 Senior Women's One Day Trophy and eventually became the leading wicket of the season. This phase included her standout performance against Australia A, bagging a five-wicket haul and finishing with a figure of 5/14 in an unofficial ODI in August 2024. She proved herself with her consistent ability to dismantle batting line-ups to be an asset to the team.

Domestic cricket gave her recognition, and her performance allowed her to be called into the WPL auction. In the WPL auction ahead of the 2024 season, the leg-spinner was included in the GG squad for INR 20 Lakh. Although she couldn’t debut in the WPL 2024 season, she had enough exposure to the higher level of cricket.

However, a few months later, Mishra got her name as an on-traveling reserve sheet for the Indian squad in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. She raised the bar as she broke the selection to receive her maiden national call-up for the ODI series against New Zealand in October 2024. She made her debut in the second ODI, where she bowled a full quota of 10 overs, securing one crucial wicket of Brooke Halliday, and conceded 49 runs with an impressive economy of 4.90.

In February 2025, the wily tweaker made her WPL debut against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) women. She has been disciplined, frugal, and tenacious in taking wickets and ending partnerships when it mattered most. Her early success in domestic and international cricket has helped her establish herself as one of the best upcoming stars of the game. However, emphasize becoming a regular player in the national team.
