Caoimhe Bray (born 23 September 2009), pronounced Keeva,” is an Australian all-rounder rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting young talents in world cricket. A right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Bray plays for the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL and has already drawn comparisons to her idol and teammate Ellyse Perry.

She also balances a remarkable dual-sport career as a goalkeeper for the Junior Matildas, showcasing athletic ability far beyond her years. Bray made her senior T20 debut for the Sixers in the 2024 T20 Spring Challenge and just weeks later, on 27 October 2024, made history in the WBBL|10 opener by becoming the youngest player ever to feature in a WBBL match at just 15 years and 34 days. Her debut was unforgettable — she dismissed West Indies superstar Deandra Dottin with her first WBBL wicket and later hit the winning runs against the Melbourne Renegades, immediately establishing herself as a player for big moments.

A product of the New South Wales pathway, Bray had already represented Australia at the Under-19 level during a 2024 tri-series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka, despite being years younger than most teammates. Her rapid rise earned her a three-year WBBL contract with the Sixers ahead of WBBL|10, firmly signalling the club’s long-term belief in her.

She has continued to elevate her game in WBBL|11, where she set a world record by becoming the youngest player ever to take a hat-trick in a major domestic T20 league, further cementing her status as a generational talent. In addition to her WBBL commitments, Bray signed a rookie deal with New South Wales ahead of the 2025–26 season. At just 15, she is already a match-winner, a history-maker, and one of Australia’s brightest sporting prospects.
