Zahoor Khan

Zahoor Khan announced himself on the world stage by bagging 12 wickets in his first three One Day Internationals. A fast bowler who represents the United Arab Emirates at ODIs and T20Is, Khan is a first-change bowler who relies more on his variations to outsmart the opposition batters. 

Born in Faisalabad, Khan made his domestic debuts back in Pakistan during 2008-09 - but the seamer had to shift to the UAE for better cricketing opportunities. He made his T20I debut in January 2017 against Afghanistan and got his ODI cap - a week later - against Scotland.

Khan began his ODI career with a bang, as he bagged 12 wickets in his first three matches, including his career-best of 6 for 34 against Ireland. 

The UAE international has also provided his services in the Indian Premier League. Apart from IPL, Khan has been representing the Gladiators franchise at Pakistan Super League and Abu Dhabi T10 League. 

The Faisalabad-born was a net bowler for Mumbai Indians during the 2014 and 2020 editions, where he taught the art of bowling slower one with the wet ball to Jasprit Bumrah. He will again contribute highly to the Mumbai Indian players during their time in the UAE for the second leg of IPL 2021.
