Arafat Minhas (POTM): "(On his bowling plans) The plans were very simple. The captain gave me confidence. I was relying on my plans. I saw how the spinners bowled in the first innings. Bowling on the stumps did work and that was the main plan.
(PSL as a tournament for him) This is a very good platform. Our team environment is also very good. We are able to express ourselves. The coaching staff and Captain are backing us big time and that helps."

Moeen Ali (Karachi Kings Captain): "(What led to the defeat?) Yeah, I’m not happy with the powerplay in the first innings. I thought they [Multan Sultans] got around 70 in the powerplay, and that’s where the game sort of tilted. I know the wicket was flat but still.
We dragged it back nicely through the middle, and then obviously the last couple of overs were quite expensive, which can happen. They do play well, but we probably didn’t do a great job there. And then with the batting, we kept losing wickets, and it was still going away from us.
(On Reeza Hendricks) Yeah, I mean, he’s been exceptional with the bat, and he can change the game from anywhere. But we’ve probably given 10–15 runs more. We didn’t manage to build those partnerships or keep the momentum going. So yeah, it’s difficult to chase such a score in any conditions."

(On the bowling unit doing well) Yeah in the bowling department has done well for us in this tournament. However, we are still searching for the bowling and fielding performance that holds us up there with the standards we set for ourselves. Though we are still winning and that helps. It is very satisfying and encouraging for us."
