Rajat Patidar (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain): [on the sweet revenge] "Absolutely. Even I am surprised at how the wicket played. The way Bhuvi and Hazlewood hit those areas and got the ball to swing was amazing.

[on the swing] The swing was normal. Good thing was we got early wickets and that's what kept us in the game.

[on the temptation to give the duo their 4th over early] We had planned earlier that if we got early wickets we will give 3 overs to each. Suyash also got a lot of spin. He bowled stump to stump which was really good to see.

[on the team shaping up] It's very important to follow your routines. Still a long way to go, we are taking one game at a time. Different players are coming up and doing the job for the team and it's good to see.

[on the bowling lineup] If you are playing T20 cricket and flat surface, you should have a good bowling unit. Only bowlers can make you win the championship."

Josh Hazlewood: "(Thoughts on the match) Turning up here after 500+ runs in the last game, (we) probably were not expecting what happened but it feels like Bhuvi and I have been pretty close in producing a really good powerplay. Whatever happened, happened.

(On the pitch) There was a little bit there in the first 6 overs. There was a little bit up and down, a little bit sideways. There was enough to work with. The ball seems to be skidding on quickly from the short of a length. Later as the ball got softer, it became more consistent.

(His plans and the set up of the wickets of KL Rahul and Nitish Rana) In general, you want the batter to try and hit it back down the wicket and play it in the 'V'. From the straight line, there was the most in the wicket. Then, the short ball was nice as well. It was about the accuracy of the short one, in particular. But I think, no matter where you pitched it, it ended up at a nice height. It was that kind of a wicket. When the ball was nice and hard, it was a good time to bowl.

(Did he want a fourth over in that spell?) It would have been nice to bowl 4 overs and get off the field. (Chuckles). Na, I think the way we played it out was nice. The spinners got into the game. Feels like every box is getting ticked at the moment.

(Any room for improvement?) We have just picked up from where we left last year. I think, in our away games in particular, we summed up conditions nicely and adapted our game, whether we batted first or bowled first."

Delhi Capitals were RCB'd — Ravaged. Crushed. Battered. Their net run rate has taken a massive hit and they have now slipped to number 7 on the points table — only KKR, MI and LSG below them. They have some soul searching to do before they travel to Jaipur to play Rajasthan Royals on Friday, May 1. Hopefully, they will be bolstered by Mitchell Starc's return then.

The defending champions stay at number 2, but now have the best net run rate in the competition. They will now fly to Ahmedabad to lock horns with Gujarat Titans on Thursday, April 30.

But before that, tomorrow, Punjab Kings take on Rajasthan Royals in New Chandigarh. Will Riyan Parag and co. be able to put the brakes on that juggernaut? Or will Shreyas Iyer and his men conquer them too? We will find out together. Do join us for it. Our coverage will begin at 6:30 PM IST.

For now, this is Darpan Tikiya saying goodbye on the behalf of Ajay Pal Singh, Ninaad Dixit, Manish Bishnoi, Aman and Paras Yadav. Keep following Crickxo for more cricketing action from around the world. Sayonara!
