Deandra Dottin to Fatima Sana
Similar length, at the middle and leg. Sana had her front leg cleared in advance. She muscles it to deep midwicket to get a run.

Deandra Dottin to Tuba Hassan
Another streaky FOUR! Valuable runs for Pakistan Women. Leg-cutter on a similar length, came in with the arm, pitched at the middle and then moved away. Tuba edged it to the left of the keeper and the ball raced to the fence.

Deandra Dottin to Tuba Hassan
A fraction fuller, same line. Tuba digs it out towards the front of square leg and sets off for a risky single. Dottin gets to the ball, dives forward to try and underarm it onto the stumps at the batting end, but misses. Run completed.

Deandra Dottin to Fatima Sana
Fuller side of good length, outside off. Sana lofts it towards cover and the fielder in the deep collects it post a couple of bounces. Two runs taken.
10:52 PM IST, 6:22 PM Local Time: It has suddenly started raining heavily at the ground. Covers are coming in and the players are rushing off the field. The ground staff members are covering the pitch first. We are going to have another stoppage in play. Pakistan are 111/7 after 16.5 overs. From here on, if the play resumes, then we will definitely see some reduction in the overs.
11:25 PM IST, 6:55 PM local time: The rain has stopped. Although, it is still pretty dark out there. The umpires are having a close look at the square, which is still under covers.
11:40 PM IST, 7:10 PM local time: Alas, the rain is back. It is not very heavy, but enough to keep the covers in place. The ground staff had begun mopping off the excess water above the covers and in the outfield when it started to pour again, forcing them to bring the hover cover on for the pitch.

11:48 PM IST, 7:18 PM Local Time: The match has been called off due to rain. No result. It seemed evident because the pitch is still covered and the rain hasn't stopped yet.

With this no result game, Pakistan Women are no longer in contention to become the tri-series champions. The points have been shared between West Indies and Pakistan.

Though West Indies are still on top of the table but Ireland have an opportunity to become the tri-series champions if they defeat Pakistan tomorrow in the final fixture of this event.

The play started almost an hour late due to rain, however, no overs were deducted. After being asked to bat first, Pakistan struggled against the West Indian bowlers on the damp wicket.

Pakistan lost their top-order batters cheaply. Muneeba Ali, Gull Feroza and Saira Jabeen were dismissed inside the powerplay. Number six batter Aliya Riaz was the top scorer with 24 off 23 balls.

Among all the Pakistani batters, only she and skipper Fatima crossed the 20-run mark. With 16.5 overs into the innings before rain became the spoilsport, Pakistan were struggling at 111/7.

Chinelle Henry, who was captaining the West Indies for the first time, picked up two wickets.

Along with her, spinner Ashmini Munisar, who was brought in for this game, also took two scalps. Zaida James, Qiana Joseph and Afy Fletcher took a wicket apiece.

Now, Ireland have a solid chance to lift the trophy since they just need to win tomorrow's fixture against Pakistan, who look lacklustre at the moment.
Alas, our desiderium ends in disappointment. Inclement weather not only robbed us of some entertaining cricket but also the teams of some valuable match practice. Remember, we are only 9 days away from the commencement of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026.

The points from this game are shared (2-2 each), which means that West Indies Women have 10 points to their name. Hence, if Ireland Women, who are on 8 points, defeat Pakistan Women in their match tomorrow, the hosts will win the tri-series.

Yes, there is no final. The team finishing at the top of the points table will be crowned as winners. Pakistan Women have only 2 points to their name and are out of reckoning. However, they will be playing for pride and to fix some issues before the beginning of the marquee tournament.
