10:18 PM IST, Local Time: The Shivam Dube-led Arcs Andheri kick start their season with a thumping 5-wicket victory over SoBo Mumbai Falcons in the 4th match in T20 Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium, skipper Dube starring with the ball in the first innings before the total was chased down in 14 overs.

Dube won the toss and decided to bowl first. Aditya Tare played a solid hand for SoBo to score 50 off 39 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes, single handedly taking his side to 127/5 with the next best score being 14 by Harsh Aghav. Dube was the pick of the bowlers with 3/17 in 3/2 overs, Ajay Mishra struck first ball and finished with 3/27 inclusive of a maiden. Deepak Shetty picked up 2/32 and Pragnesh Kanpillewar was economic with 1/15 in his 3 overs.

Fast bowler Siddhart Raut struck in the first over sending Ayush Jethwa for a golden duck. Divyansh Saxena formed an alliance with Kanpillewar for the 2nd wicket adding 50 runs. Kanpillewar hit 26 in 17 balls and was dismissed by Prathamesh Dake. Prasad Pawar got a start hitting 21 off 13 but was dismissed in the 9th over. Skipper Dube following suit adding just 16 off 15 balls as Saxena moved to his half century and was sent back by Kavya Gori on the first ball he bowled tonight. It was Arjun Tendulkar who smashed a six to take his side home at the end of 14 overs.

Vedant Gore (1/8), Kavya Gori (1/8), Dake (1/20), Yash Dicholkar (1/21) and Siddharth Raut (1/32) were the wicket takers. Akash Parkar's 3 overs were economic as he conceded just 24 runs but there were never enough runs on the board to post a challenge for a strong Arcs Andheri side.
Shreyas Iyer (SoBo Mumbai Falcons Skipper): "Absolutely, I felt we were about 40 runs short. Even if we were 150, it would have been a solid game. But yeah, a great outing. A lot of youngsters performing in front a decent crowd, not great, but yeah decent crowd.

(On Aditya Tare) He is a special player. I have seen him since my U15 days. He has played great knocks for Mumbai.

(On playing at Wankhede) It is always a special feeling to come to Wankhede, no matter what tournament you are playing. So, it is like giving back, coming here and encouraging the youngsters. It feels great to be associated with Mumbai Cricket."
Time for the Post Match Presentation.
Shivam Dube (Arcs Andheri Captain): [on the start of the season] "I would like to thanks MCA for organising the 4th season. This is our first win in 2 seasons so feels really good. Contribution from all the boys was amazing.

[on his favorite wicket] As an allrounder you want to contribute in both aspects. Today I wanted to give something for my team.

[on Saxena] He reminds me of my sixes. He can hit good sixes. He is amazing, good to watch.

[on playing at Wankhede] Feels really good because this tournament has made me Shivam Dube the allrounder. Playing at Wankhede is something awesome."
