9 runs from the 7th over, and Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters need 41 runs off 24 balls.
11:09 PM IST, Local Time: Uh-Oh! The umpires have decided to take the bails off and summon the covers with the drizzle getting heavier. Rain has interrupted play once again, but the five-over mark has been completed, ensuring a result if there's no further play. The Blasters are currently ahead by eight runs on the VJD method after seven overs. More covers are coming on to protect the bowling run-up area.
11:20 P.M. IST and Local Time: Looks like the game's done. The covers are being brought on...the players seem to be shaking hands, we're waiting for the official announcement now.

BLB won by 8 runs (DLS METHOD)
11:21 PM IST, Local Time: The persistent rain interrupted the contest once again, but it eased long enough for the chase to reach the minimum five-over mark, allowing a result to be decided under the VJD method. With the Blasters eight runs ahead after seven overs, they are declared winners in this rain-hit contest.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Coastal Kings Mangaluru posted a competitive 179/6 in their 20 overs. Captain Karun Nair anchored the innings with a fluent 43 off 31 balls, while Shreyas Gopal chipped in with 35 off 24 to keep the scoreboard ticking. Wicketkeeper-batter Suraj Ahuja provided the late flourish with a blistering 45 off just 22 deliveries, helping his side finish strongly after a crucial 51-run stand with Siddharth Akhil (11). Dheeraj J Gowda's unbeaten six off the final ball pushed the total close to the 180-mark.

For Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters, the wickets were shared evenly, with Praveen Dubey, Vidhwath Kaverappa, Shubhang Hegde, Rohan Raju, Samit Dravid, and Shreevathsa Acharya claiming a wicket apiece.

In reply, Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters made a positive start, with Bhuvan Mohan Raju and Rohan Patil scoring freely to reach 28/0 in three overs before rain interrupted play for the third time. Once play resumed, the target was revised to 109 in 11 overs under the VJD method. The openers maintained the momentum after the break, with Bhuvan bringing up a fine half-century off just 31 balls. The Blasters had raced to 68/0 after seven overs when rain returned once again. With the weather worsening and the cut-off time approaching, the match could not resume, and the Blasters were declared winners by eight runs on the VJD method.

Stay tuned for the presentation.....
Player of the Match: Bhuvan Mohan Raju
Bhuvan Mohan Raju (Player Of The Match): (On what he has been working on) Working on a few things on my game and it's working out. Just on the mental aspect of the game.

(On advice from coaches) They just told me to play my natural game, so it's helping me."
Shubhang Hegde (Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters Captain): "[Things are going very well for you?] Whatever we've planned, everything has worked out so far. And yes, winning the toss on a day like this certainly helped. I think we would've backed ourselves to chase 180 in a full 20-over game. From the seven or eight overs we batted, I thought we were going really well.

[Is the game plan with Bhuvan to give him complete freedom, or was there a message to be a little cautious today?] I don't think there's much we need to tell him—that's just the way he plays. We try not to overload him with too much information. We simply encourage him to play his natural game and express himself freely.

[Probably easy to qualify now?] Two points on any given day in a league like this are invaluable. With how evenly matched all the teams are, we'll happily take any win we can get.

[Enjoying Hubli?] Yeah, we've only got one rest day, so there's not much time to switch off. It's about recovering well because the very next day, it's back to the grind."
That's all from this rain-hit contest, folks! For now, it's me, Deepak Prakash, signing off from this coverage along with my colleagues Rajarshi, Mohammad Anab, and Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
