NS Chaturved (Player of the Match): "(Is this the best day of your career?) Undoubtedly. Everything struck the sweet spot. I would like to dedicate this award to my family and especially my father. He would have been proud if he was here.
[Plan for the chase] Signals were simpler to go for all the balls. In the dressing room, we felt that we are the best bowling attack and if they could hit us, we can also hit back. KB gave that pep talk, he has done this earlier. So, we all believed in that.
[Has not being captain relieved you?] Yes, a little bit. Seems like I am playing with a little more freedom. That is what KB Arun Karthick, Anirudh Sita Ram and the team management want me to do and few of my friends also want me to play freely. I think I did that today and hope to carry on.

B Anirudh Sita Ram (Madurai Panthers Captain): "(What your thoughts are at the moment?) It was a great game. One of the best games I have been a part of. Chasing 240 is not easy at any wicket.
(On the broadcaster overhearing Anirudh telling Chaturved that his innings was the best in the TNPL) I am sure this is the best innings. It will be one heck of a task to outdo this innings.
(What were the plans when you went out to bat?) The momentum was there but it was not easy for anyone to hit from the first ball. I took my time and I was confident that we have the batting and if we could take it to the last over, we would pull it off.
(Any special celebration for this victory?) We are very happy but on the hindsight, we should have restricted them to 200 or 205. But we conceded 30-35 runs more. Take that away and we are very happy."
