SIXX!! Oh my goodness. This was so close. Full in the slot outside the off. Hosein tonks this over the long off for a flat and power full six. But they fell short by a run. This was some batting by the Windies lower order.

England won the match by 1 run.

England leveling the series 1-1, Winning comprehensively! England were reasonably happy with their efforts with the bat in the first innings, all the batsmen took great advantage of the short boundary, Roy was brilliant in his knock of 45 of 31 balls, which included  6 boundaries and 2 maximums, Jordan made a quick fire 27 of 15 and others chipped in with small contributions. At one point it did seem like there were going to go past 180 plus, but they lost wickets at regular intervals which slowed them down. West Indies bowlers did a job to restrict England to 171 but were not supported by their fielders and batsmen.

West Indies got of to a disastrous start losing two wicket early in the Power Play, Topley struck early with the ball and contributed with a fabulous run-out of his follow-through which halted the West Indian progress. Pooran and Bravo showed a little bit of resistance before getting bamboozled by the spinners, they had lost 5 wickets at the 10 over mark scoring just 55 runs. There was a late flourish from Romario Shehperd and Akeal Hosein took them really close but couldn't cross the finish line. Shehperd contributed with a quick 44 of 28 ball, with 4 maximums and a boundary and Akeal Hosein with a breezy 44 in 16 ball, which included 4 maximums and 3 boundaries.

They better side came out victorious today, England outplayed West Indies in all department and level the series 1-1 with three games to go.

Time for the presentation ceremony.
Moeen Ali, Player of the match: " Roy was batting really well. A bit tricky surface bat to be honest. The total we set was enough as we discussed in the dressing room. And then with the ball, we got a good start. We both (referring himself and Rashid) bowled well in tandem. He was brilliant with his spin bowling."
Kieron Pollard: "If you lose early wickets, you tend to struggle. But the way the guys fought at the end, tremendous. Akeal batted really well at the end, spare a word for Shepherd. He's really taken some responsibility. It has (being unable to negate spinners) but we will find a way. We will have games like this but the guys will get through. Yeah, those (dropped catches) really count, we lost by one run today, so yeah, those do cost. But having said that, we finished well. It was a good game of cricket and hopefully, the fans enjoyed it."
Eoin Morgan: "Delighted! Even in the last quarter of the game, with an inexperienced international bowler, I thought we did well. With experience, he (Mahmood) will get better. I thought we adapted better to the conditions today. The tracks here aren't those where you can get a fluid tempo to the innings. It was a conscious idea (for the batters to spend some time in the middle). Every team in the world is trying to get better at it (death bowling). It's the hardest job in world cricket. At the end, the ball did skid on. We need to find better ways to execute. Majority of our plans today was to bowl yorkers, we just got it wrong."
That was such a roller-coaster of a game, at one point it felt like the game was done and dusted but they ended up coming extremely close. Heart-breaking loss for the Windies but the better team came out victorious today. England win the game by 1 run, level the series 1-1 with 3 matchs remaining. Let's hope we get more fun and entertainment like today in the games to come. That's all from our coverage of the 2nd T20I between West Indies v England. This is Ovaise signing off with my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and scorer Chandan Singh.
