Deepak: Rachin Ravindra is the emerging talent for the Black Caps and he proved his worth with both bat and ball today. Ravindra is the third New Zealander to score fifty and take a 4-fer in the same ODI, and he is the only player to achieve this feat at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

They deserve it as they have won the last three matches and were the better side throughout the series. New Zealand with a lot of thinking to do.
Chasing a mammoth 312 for the win, New Zealand never got going. Devon Conway went early. Will Young scored 24 off 21 balls. Henry Nicholls scored 41 off 48 balls. Tom Latham the skipper scored 13 while Glenn Phillips scored 25. Rachin Ravindra showed his promise as he scored 61 off 48 balls in the end, but it was a bridge too far in the end for the Kiwis. Kyle Jamieson scored 15 as well while 16 extras were given by the fielding side.
Moeen Ali was the pick of the bowlers for England with figures of 4/50 in 10 overs. A wicket apiece for David Willey, Brydon Carse, Sam Curran, and Liam Livingstone.

Dawid Malan (Player of the Match & Series): "Yeah, it was good fun, especially to do at the home of cricket. It's fantastic to score some runs in. It's fantastic, you know, leading into the World Cup, to get some runs on the board as well. Thought it was a bit slow. I thought I got away with a few early. Whenever they built pressure, I found it really hard to score. But especially when Joss came, we found that we were able to create a partnership and get the scoreboard going and get us into position where we could get to that 300, which we thought was a good score at the time.
[About his 21 innings 1000 ODI runs] Yeah, obviously fantastic. I didn't know that stat, so it's a great one to have, but yeah, look, I think trying to break into this white ball team in both T-20 and ODI, you either have to be a freak or you have to be consistent. And I've had to go the other way and try and be as consistent as I can and put match-winning performances on the board. That's the only way you can sort of get into this 15-man squad. And hopefully, I'll keep taking those opportunities when I get given them.
I was gutted in the last game. I thought I'd done all the hard work to get myself set for a big score and then to get out that way is obviously disappointing. And then to come here today and to back that up, I think that's key sometimes is to actually be able to back it up was fantastic, and to contribute to a win is unbelievable, especially here. And, yeah, it's just fantastic.

[On his first ever 50-over World Cup] Yeah, extremely exciting. It's a dream come true to play for England, let alone to play in a World Cup and to be part of this 15-man squad when it's confirmed, it'd be great to go. It's a dream come true. So hopefully can continue scoring runs if I get the opportunity there."
Tom Latham (New Zealand Captain): "Yes, it was a difficult day. The guys stepped up under difficult circumstances. It was a decent score, but we lacked partnerships and we lost today. Daryl did a good job in the end, Losing players is not ideal for us.
Tim is a wonderful player and in high spirits . He will be assessed in the coming days and hope he is well. Yes, it's not ideal. But it won't affect us in the World Cup as we are prepared for it.
Some guys go home and some go to Bangladesh after this. So, let's see how it goes. Kane is progressing well and it was great to have him in our set up to support us."

Jos Buttler (England Captain): "I think we've got better and better throughout the series. We spoke about the style of play and the fashion. We wanted to play our cricket. We certainly lived true to that. And we've got the results as well.
[On Malan's performance throughout the series] Yeah, absolutely. He's played fantastically well. Every time he gets his opportunity, he goes out and makes his mark. I thought today was a fantastic hundred and again. We talked about putting bowlers under pressure and being aggressive. He read the game, I thought, very, very well.
I thought that was a really good score. I think everyone had sort of said it was a little bit slow, the wicket if you hit good areas, they found it hard work. And, yeah, I think a good toss to win as the wicket played in. But, yeah, we've got to get off to a good start with the ball. And we did that again and managed to pick up wickets to put the opposition under pressure.
[On Rashid and Moeen Ali] Yeah, absolutely. I thought they bowled brilliantly well, know what they can do and what they're capable of. But it's great to see that really valuable cricketers are able to bat and bowl the way they do. It gives you great depth, obviously, in your batting lineup and the bowling.
Yeah, well-positioned. We're building nicely. We're not trying to defend anything. We're trying to go there and win a World Cup. We're in exactly the same position as every other team and it's an exciting time to be a player and to look forward to those world events."
