This is a big scoring ground. The margin of error is very less on these grounds, and if you don't bowl on good lines and lengths, you are gonna get hit.
Yeah, we came back really well with the ball in the last 15 overs. Credit goes to our bowlers. Both spinners and fast bowlers bowled well and tried to attack the stumps.
The message is simple to the batters. Under the lights, the ball comes nicely onto the bat. We started well but couldn't continue the momentum. We need big partnerships. We had it for the first wicket, but we weren't building big partnerships later on. We could only build small partnerships, and that we can't afford, chasing in excess of 300.
Going to Chennai, we need to improve a lot. We need to be much better for the first 10 overs with the ball and have to bat well during the middle phase."
