The rain stopped, but the threat of lighting meant that match could not be resumed after it was halted. Only 8 balls were bowled and Bangladesh had lost Shamima Sultana to Mlaba for 3. Murshida Khatun and Shobana Mostary were at the crease when the weather intervened and the rain stopped while the lightning had the final say in the end.
