The catch is taken at deep square leg and Thushara has been holed out here. Janat has done it as Afghanistan advances through to the semis while Sri Lanka bows out. In pursuit of a tricky chase, Sri Lanka made heavy weather of chasing a paltry total. Although the wicket was additive to the spinners and the medium pacer, careful batting could make things happen in an easy fashion. Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and asked Afghan Atalans to bat first. They suffered an early setback as Sediqullah Atal was cleaned up by Nuwan Thushara. They went very slow with the run-scoring rate inside the powerplay as the pitch was doing way too much for both pacers and the spinners.
