Ellyse Perry: "Lovely to get the win. Probably just doing my job in the end, but yeah, a nice comeback for us. India played well in the last game. So for us to come back and put in such a bowling effort there in the first innings and it was a difficult chase, but nice to finish. Phoebe in the end there was sensational.
I think we had a really good debrief about it and we're really honest. But at the same time, I think all these opportunities to play more games together as a T20 squad are great learning opportunities for us. I just think we missed the execution the other night.
So I think to come back and get a chance to bowl first, I think that the ball is doing a bit. So if you can be spot on with the way that you're bowling, it's particularly hard for the batters and we just didn't do that the other night. But Kim Garth was sensational up front, the way that she bowled, and then I thought the way that we held the run rate the whole way through those 20 overs was great.
Yeah, well, I guess it depends a little bit on what wicket we get, but, yeah, I think wickets are crucial in that powerplay just to get a good solid base and then get some set batters because once you're in there for a while, it certainly gets a fair bit easier. But trying to start on that wicket when you're under pressure to score is a little bit tricky. So I think the key is that opening a partnership like India showed the other night is so important.

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "The score was not enough on the board but our bowlers did really well and we took the game to the 19th over but the way we fielded was filled with errors and we have to think about the areas we want to improve.
When we were in the middle, we were thinking 150 would be a good total but we kept losing wickets and few overs were bowled really well by Australia but yeah we need to improve and think what we need to do in the final game.

Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain): "Yeah, I mean, we probably still didn't execute as much as a bat as what we would like, but, I mean, we're happy to get the win and take it to a decider in a couple of days time.
The statistics say that the average score here is like 145-150. So, I mean, if we keep them under 140 at any point, we know that we could do that quite comfortably. But they still bowled really well tonight and we've still got a few things to sort out with the batting lineup, but I thought our bowlers did a spectacular job upfront to get us into a good position.

I pride myself on my reviews. I let myself down in the ODIs a little bit, but I got them right tonight. But, yeah, I've seen Kim Garth take a 5-fer in the WPL here and she loves these conditions. So, yeah, we just made that change on gut feel, and we'll have to see what the lineup looks like in a couple of days time. We just need to be more clinical."

Kim Garth (Player of the Match): "No I did not know that this is the first player of the match award for an Aussie. I enjoyed myself in the middle, Wareham and Annabel bowled brilliantly to tighten the screws, but to bowl at the top and get wickets, I really enjoyed it.
I guess bowler friendly conditions, the talk was to push the ball up and hope for swing and seam movement, set attacking fields and lucky for me it came off tonight.
No I did not think that anything special was added, much of the same that I try to do with the shorter boundaries and keep developing my game with every opportunity I get with this team."
