S Currie to M Critchley
Slower delivery on shorter length outside off. Critchley gets an inside edge to the left of Salt behind the stumps for one.

S Currie to K Jennings
A boundary in the final ball but that won't help the London Spirit! Currie drags the length back at the fifth stump. Jennings gets the width and slaps it over the umpire's head and it races away to the boundary. Phil Salt-led Manchester Originals get their first victory in the sixth game and London Spirit are reeling at the bottom most spot in the points table.

MO won by 12 runs
1:45 AM IST and 9:15 PM Local Time | Manchester Originals win by 12 runs and register their first victory of the season. With this, the London Spirit are also done and dusted and are out of the race of playoffs. A clinical performance from the Originals and they will be happy to finish it on a high. So, here is how this game panned out.

Put to bat first, Originals did well and posted an above par total of 136. Skipper Philip Salt played well today and played a good knock of 58 off just 41 balls. Max Holden was also impressive batting at 3 and scored 38 off 29 but was unfortunate to get runout.

In the end, Wayne Madsen also played a good little cameo of 17* off 9 and gave his side a strong finish. With the ball, London Spirit started well with the new ball and inside the powerplay but was a bit expensive in the middle phase. Richard Gleeson and Olly Stone were the only wicket takers for them and picked up 2 wickets each.

Coming to the chase, Fazalhaq Farooqi was brilliant with the new ball for the Originals and picked up 2 early wickets but were expensive post that. They did well to pull back things in the end. Farooqi's last set was the game changing one for them.

With the bat, Spirit did lose a couple of wickets early but Keaten Jennings held one end firmly and remained unbeaten on 61* but could not cross the finish line for his side. Shimron Hetmyer also batted well and scored 44 off 35 balls but could not stay around till the end.

So, both the teams are eliminated from the tournament and have 2 more games left in the league stage and will look to play for pride now.

Hero of the Match: Philip Dean Salt
Philip Salt(Hero of the Match and Manchester Originals Captain): "It's nice to be on the right side of the run out. I am pleased to contribute to the team's victory. In three games, we were down by small margins. We had to show character on the field. The results have not gone in our way but we are back as a party spoilers(chuckles)

You have to play non-stop and 12 months don't go same. But the preparations for the upcoming international schedule starting from September is on."
So, that also brings a wrap to our coverage of this game between London Spirit and Manchester Originals. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. CHEERS!
