Liam Livingstone (POTM and England Captain): "I think I am backing my practice and the certain things I have done, and just wanted to enjoy my batting. I tried myself going from the ball one with a strong wind coming in as well. He (Sam Curran) played beautifully. He was well aware of what's happening in the field and took the pressure off me as well. Salty batted beautifully as well as he put the pressure from the start on them. I said previously also, one of our top 6 has to go big and I am happy that it paid off today. We did quite well with the ball as well in the latter part of the first innings. This win has done a world of good for us and to all the youngsters in our team, we will rest back and then gear up for the decider at Barbados."

Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Personally, it was a decent score with the conditions here. The outfield was a bit heavy, and the pitch was a tad slow. In the end, it wasn't enough. (On his 17th ODI hundred) Stats don't matter. It is irrelevant. If a century doesn't contribute to the win, it is of no use. Things were happening. We need to be more disciplined, first game we showed that, we were a bit off today, we did not execute our plans well. We had clear plans but we did not execute them well today. We bowled a bit wayward and bowled too many wide balls. We bowled too many bowls in the arc with pace on at the backend. We were not up to the mark. If you miss your lengths against these world-class batters, they will not spare you. Happy with the batter's work. Keacy Carty has put on a tough work behind the scenes. Good to see him amongst the runs. Rutherford has been brilliant. He has now got four half-centuries in a row. Hetmyer also hit a cameo. He done his job. So, yeah, good from the batters. Thank you."
