10:07 PM IST, 5:37 PM Local Time: A terrific contest at Trent Bridge to end the group stage of the Women's Hundred with the hosts Trent Rockets sealing a narrow 3-wicket win in the dead rubber against Birmingham Phoenix.
The Phoenix won the toss and elected to bat first but the Trent Rockets bowlers kept things quiet to concede just 123/6. Emma Lamb top scored with an unbeaten 56 in 42 deliveries with Kirstie Gordon picking up 2/24.
Chasing 124, the Rockets didn't quite get to a start they needed as Emily Arlott struck first ball of her spell to send Bryony Smith back in the hut. Georgia Voll then let go of the momentum with a 15-run set as Grace Scrivens and Nat Sciver-Brunt looked to build a partnership.
Scrivens got a life off Voll as she hit one straight back to the bowler who dropped a tough return chance in the same expensive set. Sciver-Brunt found the groove and hit the first maximum of the day to take the side past 50.
As the partnership neared 50, Scrivens hit one high down the ground and found Arlott taking a fine catch breaking the 46-run important stand. Skipper Ashleigh Gardner joined Sciver-Brunt at the crease adding 33 runs before hammering one high in the air to throw her wicket away which opened the gates for Phoenix.
Sciver-Brunt at the other end hammered another maximum to bring her own half century but slapped the next ball in the covers with 22 needed off 35 balls. Phoebe Brett then removed Heather Graham and Eleanor Threlkeld in quick succession.
Alana King then scored 9 off 15 balls to patiently take the requirement to just 5 runs but Megan Schutt had her caught behind in the penultimate set of the match also conceding just 3 runs to keep the equation to 2 runs and 5 balls with 3 wickets in hand.

I would have liked to be there at the end to make it calmer for everyone. Something to think about going into the future. As a batting group, we have always talked about getting ahead of the game. Had we not been ahead of the game, it would have been more stressful. Yeah absolutely.
It is always nice to win at your home ground. We haven't been able to give that to them this year. The wicket is quite specific, it is quite slow. We didn't adapt as well to that at the start of the tournament. Waiting for the ball, playing off the back-foot. But you will still get reward for the shots."
