3:05 AM IST, 5:35 PM Local Time | South Africa Women seal a historic series victory over the hosts West Indies Women! They win the third and final WODI encounter by a huge margin of 166 runs via DLS to take a 2-1 victory in the series!
West Indies Women won the toss and elected to bowl first, and it backfired massively! In a rain curatiled encounter, the opening duo of Laura Wolvaardt and eventual centurion Tazmin Brits did the bulk of scoring to take South Africa's score 278/6 after 45.5 overs before rain interrupted and shortened the first innings!
Henry was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets but it was not enough to stop South Africa from setting a big total.
Come the chase, the play was reduced to 45 overs and a target of 298 runs was set but West Indies Women had a disastrous start where they lost 4 wickets in the first 4 overs to hand the match and the series to the visitors.
Rain played it's part but South Africa's bowling attack was too good to let this slip and eventually they managed to restrict West Indies to 121/9 and with Stafanie Taylor picking up an injury in the first innings, West Indies were always a batter short in this series decider.
Klaas was the pick of the bowlers with her figures of 4/25 from 6 overs. While, Dercksen and Mlaba chipped in with a couple of wickets too.
In the end, South Africa Women outclassed the hosts in all 3 departments of the game to take home the victory.

I always find fault in something, that's how we are as cricketers but glad we could win this series. (On how she feels about having the joint-most centuries in the first 37 innings in Women's ODIs) It is nice. When you said Meg Lanning, I got lost in it. She is one of the world's best players. Good to be in that company.
Wolfie (Laura Wolvaardt), our captain. We spoke that we will go after the bowling. Powerplay is where we win or lose the game. The kind of shots she was playing, it made the job easier. Hopefully, I can keep doing that especially going into the World Cup. I am not a big stats person but the team comes first. One day you are up, one day you are down. We haven't won a series in a long time. That is the box we wanted to tick off and we have done that."

Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain): "It was a pretty hard day and they got off to a good start with the bat and we didn't. We were not on our mark today, credit goes to South Africa, they played really well. But we missed out mark with the ball and they got easy runs to score.
With the early wickets, we have two young bowlers opening the bowling and we are missing experience here. But it is good for the young players to learn against good opposition. It's always tough to have young players but these girls are learning. They have a lot of potential, they just need to be nurtured well.
If we had a better start we could have won but it did not turn out that way, we hope to comeback in the T20I series."

We have a purposeful change of mindset. We wanted to attack in the Powerplay, glad that came off. (On Masabata Klaas) She was amazing. That was the start we wanted to have in the Powerplay. Very pleased with how we played overall. Hopefully, we can score a lot more 300s."
