3:33 PM IST and Local Time: Vidarbha's bowlers have helped them bowl out the opposition for 244 runs, after Odisha was at 164/2 at one stage. Take a bow, Parth Rekhade and Praful Hinge.
After declaring late on the third day, thanks to Dhruv Shorey's twin centuries, Odisha was given a tall ask to chase down 254 runs. The openers- Gourav Chaudhury and Swastik Samal gave them a solid stand, ending the penultimate day on 44 for zero.
The pair of Chaudhury and Samal continued on and kept adding runs as Day 4 started. Thanks to a couple of close shaves and a drop from Yash Rathod, the openers shared 100 runs between them. But then, Rekhade provided Vidarbha with twin blows by sending back both openers. Despite that, Captain Subhranshu Senapati and Sandeep Pattnaik calmed the nerves and took the team to Lunch without any further hiccups.
But, a huge storm was awaiting Odisha in the afternoon session. Hinge bowled a mighty impressive spell, taking wickets of Pattnaik and Sambit Baral in quick succession. The left-arm Rekhade took over and swiped through the middle order. Yash Rathod redeemed himself by running out Rajesh Dhuper. As a result, Odisha lost six wickets in the session before Tea. After the break, Hinge and Nachiket Bhute took just close to 30 minutes to get the final two wickets.
