G Voll to L Hamilton
WICKETTT! That will do for the Sydney Thunder Women. Voll from round the wicket. A slow delivery on full length attacking the middle stump. Hamilton tries to meet the ball early to nudge and she gets beaten. It hits the base of the middle stump and knocks her over. Sydney Thunder Women have got a thumping away victory by 41 runs. Brisbane Heat Women continues their winless run in this edition's WBBL with four straight losses.
Done and dusted! Georgia Voll makes the final breakthrough and gets the Thunder all out!

SYTW won by 41 runs
5:55 PM IST and 10:25 PM Local Time: The Brisbane Heat go down to the Sydney Thunder by a big margin here! They were outplayed in all facets, and the scorecard reflects that appropriately.

The Heat won the toss and put the Thunder into bat. Tahlia Wilson was the star of the show with a remarkably constructed 79. She was supported well by Georgia Voll (20), Phoebe Litchfield (31) and Heather Knight (41). With good contributions from everyone they got to 200. That was an above par total.

Lucy Hamilton had a good day with the ball as she finished with figures of 1-28. The other bowlers from the Heat were expensive.

The chase was a steep one and the Thunder made it tougher with some excellent bowling. They put pressure on the Heat right from the get-go. They had them 64-5. That is when a little bit of a partnership was building between Nadine de Klerk (43) and Mikayla Wrigley.

However, once the Thunder got their 6th wicket, they looked unstoppable again. From 112/5, the Heat went to 116/8. There was some late order hitting from Annie O'Neil and Nicola Handcock, but all that did was saved them a bit of a NRR hit as the chase was lost long back.

The pick of the bowlers for the Thunder was Samantha Bates for her 2-23 and Emily Arlott for her 3-35. In the end the Thunder were just too strong for the Heat!

Tahlia Wilson (Player of the Match): "Ya it is great to be back at the top of the order and it was a good wicket to bat on. Any batter will love to bat in this wicket.

Actually I think I was a bit scratchy but today was good. Hit a few clean hits. It is all about used to get each other in terms of an opening partnership.

I definitely think the six I hit down the ground was the best one. We are doing well as a team and got two victories. Hope it helps us going further in the tournament."
The Sydney Thunder dominated the Brisbane Heat big time with bat and ball to earn themselves a big win. The cricket does not stop so switch tabs catch more action from around the world.

On that note, I, Manan Mehta would like to sign off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal. A shout out to our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya! See yaaa!!!
