THAT SHOULD DO IT! LUCKY BOUNDARY BUT ENOUGH TO GET THEM OVER THE LINE! Length delivery angling in. Clarke looks to go down the ground but gets an inside edge to send the ball to the fine leg boundary! WHITE ROCK WARRIORS WIN BY 5 WICKETS!

9:45 AM IST, 9:15 PM Local Time: What a thumping win for the White Rock Warriors. They register a victory by five wickets. An excellent performance from Joe Clarke for playing an unbeaten match-winning knock of 60 runs from 25 balls.

After electing to field first, White Rock Warriors bowlers were able to control the Montreal Royal Tigers batters from going wild for a majority part of the innings. However, Montreal's Josh Brown was an exception as he smashed most of the bowlers and went on to make 52 from 25 balls. Some support at the end from Isuru Udana helped Montreal post a total of 114/5. The pick of the bowlers in the first innings were Peter Siddle (1/16) and Jordan Thompson (1/12).

In reply, the Warriors started firing right from ball one. Opener Chris Lynn made a well-made 19 (6) before getting clean bowled. However, it was purely a Joe Clarke show. He single-handedly took his team over the line with a blistering 60* from 25 balls. Except Clarke, no other White Rock batter played more than six deliveries in his respective stay at the crease. Montreal seamer Isuru Udana took back-to-back wickets but it was not enough as he and his fellow teammates were not able to control the leakage of the runs. Warriors chased down the target in just 7.4 overs.

After this match, both Warriors and Tigers have two wins and two losses under their belt. They will now have to win their next game tomorrow in order to qualify for the semi-final stage.
Time for post-match presentations...
Player of the Match: Joe Clarke
Joe Clarke (POTM): "Yeahh good, I was desperate to perform for the team and help in contributing to the win. Glad I did that today.

Vancouver is beautiful and treated us very well. Very happy with the win and would want to continue like this going forward."
Shakib Al Hasan (Montreal Royal Tigers): "I thought we were a bit short in the first innings. We were still in the game in the second innings but a few overs went for too many runs and that's where we lost our momentum. Tomorrow will be a must win game for us and we will want to show our best game and hope to qualify for the semi-finals."
Chris Lynn (White Rock Warriors): "On off on off a bit from us but yes we were proactive today and charged up from ball one. We assessed the conditions well and fought hard.

No time to go into the shell. Got to fight it out there and be more proactive. We have plenty of talent in the sheds and would love to use it.

Important game tomorrow and would love to give our best out there. Hopefully we win the toss and get to bowl first. It does give you a small advantage."
What a match we witnessed today. A sheer dominating performance from the White Rock Warriors. That's it from this game.
