AA won by 9 wickets
10:00 PM IST, Local Time: A clinical performance by Arcs Andheri as they win the game by nine wickets with more than six overs to spare. With this defeat, Bandra Blasters have now been eliminated from this year's tournament. Meanwhile, Andheri have registered their third win of the game and have a very solid chance of advancing to the knockout stage.

Despite some solid batting by Om Keshkamat and Sagar Chabria's late-hitting, the Bandra Blasters could manage only 144/9 in their 20 overs. This was because the side had lost a cluster of their wickets in the first 10 overs, thanks to some great bowling by Andheri bowlers on the gripping track.

However, in reply, Andheri batters batted as if they were chasing on a different surface. Divyansh Saxena hit the first ball of the innings for a six. He scored a quickfire 26 off 11 balls before getting dismissed by Royston Dias.

Later, the Andheri management decided to promote Arjun Tendulkar at number 3. He attacked right from the start. Along with him, opener Musheer Khan also played his shots but it was Tendulkar who reached his half-century first. His maiden fifty of the tournament. The duo stitched an unbeaten 116-run stand for the second wicket.

The light rain also started coming in just after the powerplay but the play wasn't interrupted. It only forced Tendulkar and Musheer to finish off the chase quickly and get back to their team hotels. And they did that in style.

None of the Bandra bowlers made an impression with the ball tonight.

With this loss in the Western Mumbai Derby, Bandra have just one win from five games and that means their campaign now comes to an end.
Sumit Parkar (Bandra Blasters Captain): "(On the loss) The way you said that, the way our in-form batters got out in the first 5 overs, but still the boys showed character.

(On whether it was the wrong decision to bat after the toss) I don't think so. We have scored 180 plus a lot of the time before. It was just a bad day.

(On the next game) One thing that we will look forward to is to bowl in the right lengths and all of our batters to score runs.

(On the experience) We had a great experience, but I am gutted that we could not qualify."
Time for the post match presentation.
Ajay Mishra has received the purple cap from Shivam Dube.
Player of the Match: Arjun Tendulkar
Arjun Tendulkar (Arcs Andheri): "(On the performance) It is a very satisfying performance and I really enjoyed it. Glad to have performed for my team.

(On Dube promoting him to 3) He just told me to mentally prepare to bat at 3 and go and express myself.

(On his bowling) Everything was going well today. We just kept to the basics and hit the right lengths.

(On his work ethic) Just focus on your routine, eat good protein and train hard."
Shivam Dube (Arcs Andheri Captain): "(Winning this game after yesterday's loss) It was not a bad day for us. We learned many things from yesterday’s game, and there were many positives. That’s what reflected in today’s performance. We were a little hurt after yesterday, and we showed some intent today and played like a team.

(On the team's tactic) Musheer was not well in the first match, and I wanted to give him some time. In the second match, we bowled first, so I wanted him to recover and then bat. In the third match, even though he came in, we felt it was a little early for him. But now we thought this was the best time for Musheer to show what he can do.

(Thinking about the NRR?) We always think about the trophy. We always think about reaching the semi-finals. But the most important thing, which I’ve told all the boys, is to focus on today’s game and on every ball. That’s the process. We follow the process and focus on the game.

(On the team's bowling) Definitely. It’s about finishing the game strongly, not only with the batting but with the bowling as well. We could have done better. My last over could have been better. So yes, I take responsibility for that last over, and I should have bowled much better."
An excellent performance by the Arcs Andheri as they win by nine wickets inside 14 overs. With this defeat, Bandra Blasters have been knocked out of the tournament while Andheri are on the verge of qualifying for the knockouts.

That's it from our live coverage of this fixture. This is Mohammad Anab signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Utsav Chandak and our scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Cheers.
