6:43 PM IST, 3:13 PM Local Time: Australia seal a 6-wicket win against South Africa to kick start their Super Six campaign at Windhoek!

Winning the toss, Australia elected to bowl first. Brilliant teamwork from the bowling attack meant South Africa were bundled for 118 in 32.1 overs. Charles Lachmund picked up 3/29, William Bryom 2/16 and Aryan Sharma 2/27 with Paul James's 34 off 60 balls the highest individual score in the first innings.

Defending 119, the South African bowlers didn't keep things too easy for the Aussies. Opener Will Malajczuk was dismissed for 4 in the 3rd over. Nitesh Samuel added 38 runs for the 2nd wicket with Steven Hogan before the former was dismissed for 16 by Buyanda Majola.

Hogan dug in and faced 73 deliveries top scoring with 43. His knock was studded with 5 fours. Skipper Oliver Peake played a bad stroke and was caught behind for 10 off Jacob Basson who in the same spell sent Hogan back in the shed making the chase tougher for the Aussies.

Alex Lee Young and Jayden Draper scored 21 each and remained unbeaten in their run-a-ball 28 run stand for the 5th wicket. Basson (3/41) and Majola (1/23) were fantastic with the ball but the Proteas bowling attack didn't ever have enough runs on the board to clinch the contest and lost their 3rd match of the tournament.

Charles Lachmund (Player of the Match): "The wicket is very good so you can afford to bowl in good areas, wear the opposition down and then get rewards. The big inswinger is good. It's pretty good the fearsome foursome. It's really nice to see everyone gel together and set us up for big wins with complete performances."
Muhammed Bulbulia (South Africa U19 Captain): "After a tough start in the morning, the boys showed tough fight in the 2nd half. Around 250-260 would have kept us in the game. We just lost wickets in clusters and it was not easy from here. Extremely important to win against Sri Lanka and gain those two points."
Oliver Peake (Australia U19 Captain): "It was a little bit different with our two games. Very proud of Alex Lee Young and Draper the way they finished the game. The pacers started amazing again today. Every time you get 3 or 4 wickets in the powerplay you start on the front foot. It was really impressive from Aryan Sharma and the entire bowling attack afterwards. The wicket was a bit more tricky. Happy to be going to a new place and come up with new challenges. Looking forward to what the next couple of weeks present."
